To provide the best available audio and visual equipment for our members enjoy the worship service and other activities held here at the building. We also provide recordings of our worship services for those not able to attend.
Benevolence Ron & Katy Weiss
To be organized for the purpose of providing assistance to members and non-members alike who are in immediate need of food, clothing transportation and temporary housing.
Bereavement Dinners & Meals on Wheels Ladies of the Congregation
Providing meals for funeral dinners; and providing meals for families following a stay in the hospital and/or a birth of the primary care-giver in the family.
Bridal/Baby Showers Ladies of the Congregation
We shower our members getting married and/or who are anticipating the arrival of their first child with gifts.

To maintain to the best of our ability the church building God has provided for us.
Bulletin Boards Paula Garrett
To communicate information to members of the congregation visually and to allow the ministries to share their information and provide words of encouragement and/or Biblical principals.
Counseling Stephen Ennis
To provide counseling for those with spiritual, emotional or relationship needs.
Education Don Jamison
To serve the educational needs of our fast growing congregation through Sunday morning and Wednesday night classes for students in Cradle Roll through Adults.
Family Life Jerry Brackney
To serve the congregation by providing classes to enrich the marriages of our members and non-members as well. We also provide parenting classes for church members, as well as non-members who are parents of children from birth through teens. Financial classes are also held with an emphasis on using our blessings that God has provided for us to the best of our ability.
Fellowship Mark & Kathy Dillard
One avenue in which we can cooperatively work together building stronger bonds of love. We schedule monthly Sunday potlucks, as well as other various fellowship activities throughout the year.

Take care of the grounds around the church building which God has blessed us with.
Jail & Prison Phil Dillard, Carl Ogar
To reflect the light of Christ to inmates, to let Christ shine in a way they can see His gospel. We currently visit with the inmates at the Lapeer County Jail on Sunday evenings on a weekly basis. We provide Bible study material and study with those desiring to study. We also keep in contact with the inmates who we study with and/or are baptized after they are released.

To have information readily available to the members of the church who desire to study more in depth or would like to read books (novels) written from Christian-based authors.
Office Freda Wright
The office ministry is the information hub of the congregation. Congregational records are kept and we strive to provide information as quickly as possible to help the congregation grow numerically, as well as grow closer together as a family.
Preteens (12 years - under) Committee of members
To coordinate activities that will encourage our young people from pre-school through 6th grade to fellowship regularly with each other and promote unity and friendships.
Secret Sister Donna Kurschat
Women of the congregation encouraging one another throughout the year by having a Secret Sister to send cards to, give gifts to, etc. A special “revelation” party is held at the end of each year to find out who has been the ladies’ Secret Sister throughout the year.
Soup Kitchen Various members
Providing a hot meal once a week (Wednesdays) for members of the community who are struggling to make ends meet and need a meal to nourish their bodies. The recipients also enjoy great fellowship with one another and our members who work preparing and serving the meals.
Teens Chase Pratt / Parents Committee
To build and encourage an individual relationship of the teens in our congregation with the Lord. We provide opportunities for them to learn about God’s will for their life as a teenager and we also provide opportunities for them to grow together and become unified as a youth group.
World Bible School Brian Crowley
To introduce students around the world to Christ and teach them His word through Bible Correspondence Courses. Our members receive the correspondence courses, check them, and continue the study by sending additional courses.
Young at Heart Jerry Brackney
To unite our mature members with each other and God through monthly activities and fellowship.
Youth Bible Hour Kent Hoggatt
To teach our children the joy of learning about God at an early age and present lessons about God and Biblical concepts at the children’s level of understanding. The Bible Hour class is held during our worship assemblies.

The Lapeer church exists to glorify God through effective evangelism in our community first and then abroad, and to stimulate all to become more like Christ through loving unity, involvement, worship, meeting the needs of others, and spiritual edification.
